We efficiently research the feasibility of protecting a trademark in Finland and abroad. Preliminary studies effectively serve to identify the possibility of registering and using a trademark. These studies can be carried out globally or for a specific country or area, such as the European Union. A study can be narrowed to search for identical trademarks already registered or extended to search for trademarks that could easily be confused with the trademark. In addition, the study can also include Finnish business names as well as surnames entered in the Finnish Population Information System, as these may prevent a trademark from being registered in Finland.
Preliminary studies can also result in useful information on the registration status of competitors’ trademarks. We always provide customers with a detailed analysis of the results of our research and the prospects for having the trademark registered.
