I work as the team manager of patent assistants at our Helsinki Office.  The main priority in that job is to ensure that services required by our customers during the patenting process are available and reliable. Besides that, continuous effort is allocated in the streamlining of our internal operations in addition to the appropriate use of human resources. It really comes down to consolidating various interests – efficiency, working atmosphere, accuracy, profitability, challenge, and learning. To succeed in this job, one needs to be a good listener and to have managerial skills.  Although it is not my job to make soap bubbles, it does not hurt to do that every now and then.
