Jaana Hietanen

Jaana works in Berggren's US team, specializing in the US patent and design patent prosecution handled by Berggren LLP before the USPTO. Thus, she is familiar with the USPTO procedures and practices and is able to assist clients with any questions related to US IP formalities.

Before joining the US team in 2015, Jaana worked as an IP assistant for Berggren Group in Finland for 15 years. She has extensive experience in patent prosecution processes worldwide, especially before the Finnish Patent and Registration Office, the European Patent Office (EPO) and the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO), and can help Berggren LLP's clients also with foreign national and regional patent application filing and prosecution.
