Heidi Velasco
Päivi has worked in the field of intellectual property since 1995. She helps companies protect their trademarks in Finland and internationally, and develop trademark strategies that support their business and growth. Päivi advises clients on selecting, registering and using trademarks correctly, and helps ensure that brand protection also supports expansion into international markets.
Her work also includes trademark searches, trademark monitoring and trademark portfolio management. In addition, she advises clients on design protection and domain name matters, and helps them identify and assess potential trademark risks.
In disputes and infringement matters relating to brands and designs, Päivi works closely with Berggren’s lawyers. She is based at Berggren’s Turku office.
Päivi is a good point of contact when a company is choosing a new trademark, planning to expand internationally or looking to improve the management of its trademark portfolio.
