Mika has worked in the IPR field since 2000, and he helps clients identify, protect and make use of their innovations in ways that support their business goals. He advises on IPR strategy, patenting, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses and patent portfolio development, and assists in patent-related disputes. His clients range from start-ups, growth companies and research organisations to international technology companies and industrial groups. He also discusses IPR strategy and commercialisation with boards, management teams and investors.
Mika’s technical expertise centres on physics. He has strong experience in medical devices and medical imaging, energy and environmental technologies, the circular economy, fluid dynamics and heat transfer, and measurement and sensor technologies, as well as process, industrial and aviation technologies. He has helped develop Berggren’s international networks and speaks regularly on innovation, patenting and commercialisation.
