Paula Sailas

Paula has over 20 years of diverse experience as an IP lawyer. She assists our clients in all stages of the trademark and domain name life cycle, from the name selection process to prosecution and enforcement. Paula has extensive experience in settling trademark and domain name disputes both amicably and in various courts of law. Challenging consulting assignments related to IP agreements, marketing and consumer protection laws as well as copyright issues are also part of her daily work.

Clients have described Paula as a personable, approachable, client-oriented, and versatile attorney. Her strong professional expertise has also been recognized internationally: Managing IP included Paula on its Top 250 Women in IP list in both 2022 and 2025. Paula is actively involved in several IPR organizations and has been featured in industry publications as well as participated in numerous events both in Finland and abroad. She has contributed to committee work in international organizations such as INTA and FICPI for over ten years. For the 2022–2025 term, Paula was elected President of FICPI’s Membership Commission. In addition, she serves as a member of the Ethics Committee, the Nominations Committee, and the CET1 Trademark Committee.
