    Innovation voucher

    Business Finland's innovation voucher is suitable for SMEs (Class A) with established business operations that want to initiate innovation activities and develop their products, services, or processes, or acquire new knowledge and expertise needed for innovation activities as a service.

    The application process is simple and quick. The value of the innovation voucher is 7,440 euros (6,000 euros plus VAT).

    Comprehensive IP package
    • Initial assessment with the client to determine the company's various needs and objectives for IP protection and/or contracts.
    • Necessary research (patents, designs & trademarks.
    • Competitor activity analysis.
    • Protection plan for an internationalizing company.
    • IP orientation for the company.

    IP package tailored to the company's needs
    • Idea package: Drafting and filing a patent application (initial application)
    • Brand package 1: Preparing a trademark application (EU), determining classification, and  TM training (correct brand usage)
    • Brand package 2: Creating a brand & trademark (name planning), limited risk assessment of the brand, correct brand usage, planning preparing trademark application
    • Brand & Design package: Planning and determining classification, and  brand and design protection, brand, design, and TM training (correct brand usage)
    • Design package: Protection of design (drafting a design application in the EU), design protection processes, synergies with other rights, defining the scope of protection, training
    • Contract package: Basic contracts for the company: Company establishment, shareholder agreements, NDAs, transfer agreements, collaboration agreements, licensing agreements

    All packages include an initial assessment with the client to determine the company's various needs and objectives for IP protection and/or contracts. Regarding official fees, it is always agreed separately in connection with the assignment whether they are included in the total cost or not.

    Future IP plan

    Situational assessment and goal setting: Clarification of different forms of protection (patents, designs, trademarks, and agreements), protection plan (regional systems, individual target countries), IP management, IP risk management, reporting to the company (does not include the submission or drafting of applications).
