Emilia Hodge leads Berggren’s Legal Services business and has worked with intellectual property matters since 2013. She is an experienced and recognised advisor in commercial legal matters and intellectual property, with particular expertise in trademarks, copyright and design rights. Her expertise also covers unfair business practices, marketing law, consumer protection and data protection, as well as trade name and domain name matters. Emilia advises both Finnish and international clients.
Emilia has extensive experience in IP-related litigation and administrative proceedings, as well as an in-house legal background, including at the Luhta Group. Before joining Berggren, she worked as an attorney-at-law for more than ten years. She has particular insight into the retail, consumer goods, food, fashion, design, entertainment and music industries. Emilia regularly contributes to professional publications and lectures on topics within her areas of expertise.
Emilia helps clients manage legal and business risks through the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, commercial agreements and other compliance measures, and represents clients in disputes when needed.
