Marjut Lattu is a European Patent Attorney and Partner at Berggren, working in IPR since 2002. She helps clients with the patenting of computer programs and AI-based solutions, as well as ICT inventions more broadly.
Marjut has extensive experience in technology patenting in both the United States and Europe. She handles the IPR aspects of product development and commercialisation, patent prosecution and IPR strategy, and supports clients in making the most of their patent rights. She also assists with infringement matters and prepares assessments to support patenting decisions.
Marjut served as an expert member of the Market Court from 2020 to 2023 and as a full member of the Finnish Board of Patent Attorneys from 2020 to 2026. She works in Lappeenranta, where she also serves as the local first point of contact for trademark and design matters.
