Sari Heikkilä
Mika Lehtinen has worked in the IP field since 1996, both in-house and with IP service providers. Over his career he has held management and business development roles as well as hands-on IP positions, including at Nokia and Berggren. His work has included invention analysis, patent application prosecution, drafting claim charts, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses and patent portfolio management.
Mika's core expertise covers patent commercialisation, IP strategy, patent portfolio management and patent risk management. He has more than 20 years of experience in patent licensing and sales. He has prepared more than 300 claim charts, taken part in numerous licensing and patent sale negotiations, and negotiated with many Fortune 500 companies. Mika has also been involved in significant licensing projects, patent sale projects and litigation that have delivered substantial value to rights holders.
Mika has built more than 50 IP strategies for clients across different industries and technology areas, presented strategic recommendations to management teams and boards, and supported the execution of key IP initiatives.
