Having worked in the IP sector and at Berggren since 2006, Katja provides expert assistance in all matters related to the protection of inventions. She focuses particularly on the protection of inventions in the fields of biotechnology and process engineering, such as pulp and paper manufacturing. Katja has experienced in European oppositions, appeals and oral proceedings at the EPO. Additionally, she supports clients in various types of consultation assignments, such as an evaluation of inventions and competitor follow-up. Katja’s expertise also includes activities as an outsourced patent engineer in our client companies by working closely with inventors and in-house IP specialists.
