    Timo has worked in the IPR field since 1997. He helps clients protect their innovations, prevent and resolve IPR disputes, and take intangible rights into account in their business. He drafts patent and utility model applications and advises on how design rights can complement the protection of an invention. He also assists clients with IPR strategies and in patent disputes and infringement matters.

    Timo’s technical expertise covers electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, control and automation technology, and software. Before his work as a patent attorney, he was a patent engineer in industry.

    Timo has secured protection for clients’ products across broad international markets, including countries where Finnish companies less often seek protection. He also provides training on IPR matters.
