Christoph Wunderlich

Christoph Wunderlich helps clients to build patent and trademark strategies, as well as to protect and defend their IP rights throughout the whole innovation lifecycle. He carries out freedom-to-operate and validity analyses and manages international IP portfolios. His work helps clients to identify legal and commercial risks at an early stage, protect their innovations and support international growth.

Christoph holds a doctorate in chemistry (Dr. rer. nat.) and has worked in IPR since 2019. Before qualifying as a German Patent Attorney, he worked in the chemical industry in Switzerland and the United States, focusing on industrial-scale solid-phase synthesis of peptides and nucleotides. This background gives him a practical understanding of research and development processes, GMP-compliant manufacturing and the commercialisation of chemical and life science products. His particular areas of experience include organic chemistry, process chemistry, medicinal chemistry and biotechnology.

Christoph is a member of FICPI and VPP.
