    Janina has worked in the field of intellectual property since 2016. She helps clients protect their inventions and handles patent oppositions, appeals and disputes. Her expertise includes developing business-driven IP protection strategies that take into account both clients' objectives and patentability requirements. She also conducts patent searches and analyses.

    Janina has experience managing parallel opposition proceedings in multiple countries and assisting clients in patent disputes before the Finnish Market Court and the Unified Patent Court (UPC). She is a skilled advocate who can manage complex matters and help clients navigate patent office proceedings across different jurisdictions.

    Janina's technical expertise covers chemistry, process engineering and materials. She has extensive experience particularly in production processes, compositions and formulations, food technology, bioproducts and processes involving bio-based raw materials. Before entering the patent profession, she worked in commercial pharmaceutical formulation development and conducted university research on polyelectrolytes, fuel cells and lithium batteries.
