Ville is a member of Berggren’s information technology team (ICT & AI). He has extensive experience in patenting inventions related to physics, optics, electronics, measuring instruments, manufacturing processes, materials synthesis, aerosol physics, telecommunications, and biomedical technology. Ville holds a doctorate degree in technical physics, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Before joining Berggren in 2004, Ville worked as a senior researcher in the Optics Laboratory of Tampere University of Technology, where he was responsible for developing advanced measuring instruments within the framework of various EU research programs. Ville is a member of the Council of the European Patent Institute (2014–2017-2020-2023-2026).
