    Join us for a fast-paced 45-minute, interview-style webinar on 10 April 2024 to gain a comprehensive understanding of EU designs. The webinar, led by Berggren´s own Robert Alderson and Paula de Andrés Gómez, has been created specifically for non-Europeans who would like to learn more about EU design practice and the strategic advantages (and possible requirements) when filing your design application in Europe first.

    Speakers:

    • Paula de Andrés Gómes
      Head of our Alicante office in Spain, 20+ years of experience in IP, particularly extensive experience in design protection, managing design right portfolios, she offers consultation to clients on a broader basis in questions related to design right strategies as part of the clients’ IP strategies and assists in design right infringements.

    • Robert Alderson 

      Robert is one of a small number of intellectual property professionals working in Europe who has a law degree from the United States and is qualified to practice before both the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. He is also eligible to participate in litigation proceedings before the new European Unified Patent Court.

      Prior to moving to Europe over 12 years ago, Robert worked in New York as an intellectual property attorney, including over 10 years at an AmLaw 100 law firm. Given his experience with both United States and European IP law, Robert frequently writes and speaks on a variety of topics.
