Jaakko assists clients in patent and patent-related matters, such as novelty studies and freedom to operate examinations. He holds a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Nanoscience and is finalizing a Ph.D. in Experimental Low Temperature Nanophysics. This background provides a broad and strong technical knowledge base and the ability to quickly absorb new knowledge.
Prior to joining Berggren, in addition to his academic research, Jaakko has worked in industrial R&D on optical coatings and as a patent engineer in a company developing quantum computing, focusing on IP risk management including patent prosecution.
